Maybe [Cruel was Daoshen] What do you think ?

Does a minions count as an ally ?

I was thinking ... me as a rit with [clamor of souls] + [Cruel was Daoshen].
A Jagged MM, a n\rt restorer (with [icy veins] or [OOTV]) and a splinter volley ranger.
2 monks, a warder and maybe a warrior henchies to complete the team.

Strong enough for vanquish most areas ?

Allies is anything in the party window ( I presume)

It's horrible, [ancestors' rage] outclasses it, as does [cruel was daoshen] and [flame burst], etc. etc. It's crap.

There are much better elites to take.

Focusing your build on Clamor of Souls is bad. The elite skill (for Rits at least) should complement the rest of the build.

its a pretty bad elite, Destructive was Glaive/Grasping was Kuorong are better if you're into PBAOe Rit.
Weapon of Remedy, Offering of Spirit and Attuned was Songkai are better for general Channeling/Restoration hybrids...

and allies are not just party members, minions, pets, allied npcs, etc do count... however since its only nearby range it's not better than any other nearby PBAoE and takes an elite...

but i insist .... one more chance

.

i tought having [clamor of souls]+[cruel was daoshen]+[ancestors rage]
in the same bar. Its plus 300 damage in 3 seconds.
Just need some utility for the bar.

I dont like spirits ... that's why im searching for diferrent ways to do
some damage with rits.

Maybe [grasping was kuurong]+[ancestors rage]+[cruel was daoshen]+[spirit rift]+[you move like a dwarf]
and some utility\energy management

Better ... or this sucks too

change it with destructive was glaive than u can go forth and back between glaive and daoshen trowing an ancestor in there on recharge ,gl with energy management tho

Now look at the Ancestor's Rage description. [Ancestor]

AR does MORE damage for HALF the energy, and the amount of foes it hits isn't limited by the amount of RED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GORED ENGINE GOing allies in range! What was Anet thinking when they made this skill? It has no reason to exist!

The thing is....PBAoE skills suck. Outside of Farming, you're really risking your life for something really marginal. There should be other damage dealing members in your party. (I've never seen a PUG without at least 1 warrior)

The Rits job is to increase that damage with [Ancestors' Rage] and [Splinter Weapon].

Ritualists are support chars. Devoting your skill bar for damage is really gimping it's potential

But I insist even more. Don't bother with this elite.

[destructive was glaive] and [grasping was kuurong]

are still better though I don't really recommend either.

My favorite use of Ancestors Rage is on the front line tanks allies. I can heal them and also blast their foes. You can even use it on the pets, which is helpful.

But ill give it a try to [destructive was glaive].

If dosent work ...maybe i start doing what rits are suppose to do
